Hey Tempers!
A few weeks ago I created a thread in the Wii Hardware section about a slew of Wii accessories from a website called Dino Direct ( click here for the complete store http://www.dinodirect.com/?d=41699104 ) Today I will give you all my quick review on the Wii Remote/Nunchuck combination and Zapper I purchased from this store. The Remote Nunchuck combination can be found here: http://www.dinodirect.com/nintendo-wii-rem...html?d=41699104 and the zapper can be found here: http://www.dinodirect.com/Zapper-Gun-for-N...html?d=41699104
Both packages were sent to me in speedy fashion (as speedy as free shipping can be). The Zapper was packed in a nice box with a decent amount of padding. The Remote and Nunchuck were in a traditional Dino Direct envelope. Overall this is a case of you get what you paid for. As far as controls go, everything is responsive on both the Remote and Nunchuck. The pointer is as speedy as the one on a retail purchased remote and the range of motion is exactly the same. The only things I found that were a bit lacking was the speaker and rumble. Don't get me wrong, they work but the rumble is a bit weak and the speaker is just a tad bit weak but not so weak that it's a drastic change.
As far as the zapper goes, it's your standard fare. The Remote and Nunchuck fits perfectly onto the zapper. I played a few rounds of Black Ops and Conduit 2 (not with "zapper" controls, they're pointless) and had a total blast. I never knew that holding a zapper in my hands would really make me feel like such a bad-ass lmao. With all of that said. Both the remote combination and the zapper make for great purchases (considering their prices) and while it's not listed, surprisingly the remote comes with a controller glove. You can find pictures of the items below.
