Sadly, I think your right. Nintendo really needs to get some titles out there next year, so MAYBE they'll push to get it localized...but don't hold your breath.

I bought both Wii and PS3 versions of Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes so there's better be another English version.

From what I heard, the game didn't sell well enough for capcom to bring Utage over here unfortunately :/

They've officially said they aren't bringing it over.

Obviously they didn't have enough customers to bring it over, so who gives a fuck if like five people get their knickers in a twist over Sengoku Basara not coming over?

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes was pretty fun. If this game ever gets a patch I may give it a run.

It's pretty difficult to get games like this to sell, they probably got profit but not enough for Capcom standards.
They should get some tips from Koei.

May someone please tell me where does Basara 3 lie in relation to Samurai Heroes (last year's game) in the continuity of the story line? Also, where the hell is Basara 1 & 2?

Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes was a localization of Sengoku Basara 3.
Sengoku Basara 3 is the direct sequel to Sengoku Basara 2, which re-told the story from Sengoku Basara.
Sengoku Basara 3 Utage is basically Sengoku Basara 3.5, while Sengoku Basara 2 HEROES is Sengoku Basara 2.5.

^Basara 3 is Samurai Heroes. Samurai Heroes is just the localized name. Basara 3 Utage is basically an expansion pack that let's you play other characters like Sarutobi Sasuke and Kasuga, etc. Basara 1 was localized in the PS2 known as "Devil Kings". 2 was never translated.

    [Edit] - Dang, ninja'd.

OK so If I'm right, it's

Sengoku Basara / Devil Kings (PS2)
    Sengoku Basara 2 (???)
    Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes (???)
    Sengoku Basara 3 / SG:Samurai Heroes (Wii)
    Sengoku Basara 3 Utage (Wii)

What platform (s) is/are the first three games available for?

EDIT: OK One down, 2 to go!

Anyone got this to work, all I got was a black screen after all the questions about importing the previous games' data?

Here's a complete breakdown of all the entries in the franchise (so far):

Sengoku Basara / Devil Kings (PS2)
    Sengoku Basara 2 (PS2/Wii)
    Sengoku Basara X (Arc/PS2)
    Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes (PS2/Wii)
    Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes (PSP)
    Sengoku Basara: Chronicle Heroes (PSP)
    Sengoku Basara 3 / SB:Samurai Heroes (PS3/Wii)
    Sengoku Basara 3 Utage (PS3/Wii)

The game works fine on my NTSC-J Wii BTW...you might want to play around with your settings.

You might want to try updating to the latest cIOS's (i.e. cIOS d2x)...it worked for me using the latest version of GeckoOS BTW.
