Can the PAL save file be transferred/converted to the NTSC version?

it worked with the japan version when i transfered my save to pal but i used my wi-fi on the japan severs so yeah... but with my europe save i did not go on wi-fi so hopefully that matters.

awsome; it's finally out there; we just have to find it hehe
Oddly, usenet seems void. All that can be found are web based file share links. Very odd indeed... So much for trying before buying. I've only heard good things though... Anyone report otherwise?

yea...it's an OK Game, but very simple and repeating gameplay.

I got the PAL version a few days ago and played it with some buddies and it's pretty mediocre.

Gameplay for most of the games consists of just running around and pressing 2 a lot. It's basically just a mini game compilation but only with 4 really long mini games. It doesn't have any of the appeal the past Mario titles had, really.

It was still decent fun to shout at each other but not worth anything more than throwaway value.

Ahh, so what I understand is that if you have Wii Sports, Resort, Mario Kart etc... Mario Sports Mix isn't worth it really. Well that's a bummer. Someone needs to light a fire under Nintendo's development team. Seem like they just copy & pasted the Mario franchise in without making it unique...

This game was developed by Square Enix, not Nintendo. Actually, other than Mario Kart, I don't think Nintendo's developed any other Mario sports title:

Mario Golf Series- Camelot
Mario 3-on-3 / Sports Mix - Square Enix
Mario Tennis Series- Camelot
Mario Baseball Series - Namco/Namco Bandai
Mario Strikers Series - Next Level Games
Mario Party Series - Hudson Soft
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Series - SEGA/SEGA Sports
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix - Konami

So yeah...

The game is decent amounts of fun with 4 people. I'm a bit saddened by the fact that none of the included games are as thawed out as they could be - either they should've made this game a blow out and added a bunch more sports, or they should've focused on one, like the other developers. It's fun, bu the potential for something greater is so evident. It looks great, and it sounds nice as well, but I would've much rather preferred a sequel to 3-on-3 done right than what Square gave us here.

This is pure shovelware. Each sport is fun for about 5 minutes. The AI is not challenging; e.g. I had a score of 30-2 in hockey on the hardest difficulty before giving up in sheer boredom. The games are not implemented with any of the creativity or flare that one expects from games with the Mario Branding. There's virtually no progression or anything to unlock, so there's not much incentive for replay.

Unless you're under age 8 and have a high threshold for repetitive and pointless gameplay, this ranks in the 2 out of 5 stars range.

They should have released a Kingdom Hearts Wii or something like that. But I guess, Mario on the cover sells better than everything else on the Wii...
