For those in Canada, there is a great deal at futureshop for the Intec Racing Wheel at 20$ instead of 50$ , i am not sure if it ends today... I just picked one up and tried NFS:Nitro, what a blast! I'll never play racing games with the wiimote again...

Well I tried the F1 game yesterday with the racing wheel kit, i am not sure what to say but the car handling is puzzling me....I will need to give it a try again...there seems to be a huge dead zone in the middle when you try to gently correct your line it wont move and then suddenly you steer too much

Played Monza and spa-francorchamps...wow!

Does anybody test it with firmware less than 4.2 ? Did the game run with 3.4E ?

Got just a green blib an then blank screen + crash with 3.4E + NeoGamma R4 & R6 (default options).

Suprisingly a nice game - not quite up to Crammond F1GP series, but for the Wii, it's probably as good as it gets.
Works fine on 4.1E, no soft mods, no brickblock, Wiikey1 .

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
