Wow, the "dumpers" in PAL-territories sure are damn fast.

Still need to try this game and from consumers I heard pretty good thing. From the press on the other side more negative or descend receptions...

Very nice, now I just have to get my hands on that scrubbed version (2,3 GB or so)

Don't get the scrubbed.

I had the scrubbed NTSC version, and it had the Wiispeak feature taken out for some STUPID reason.

I downloaded the full ISO, non-scrubbed, and Wiispeak works.

I don't have a WiiSpeak and don't plan on buying it.
Can I hear other people speak with the scrubbed version?

Thanks for the heads-up, but if the scrubbed version saves me around 2GB, I'll take it, even if it doesn't have WiiSpeak.

I don't think you can hear people on the scrubbed. But I'm not sure to be honest...I never played with any friends with Wiispeak when I had the scrubbed. I bought the actual retail version like, 3-4 days after I got the full ISO. Just because I feel safer using the real copy. And because the full ISO I got, kept lagging somewhat in one player and online.

Then the scrubbed is for you if you're looking for a smaller size, and if you don't have Wiispeak.

of course you have the wiispeak option in the scrubbed version, too.
scrubbing doesn't alter the content of a game, mkay?

No...you don't actually.

I mean, technically you do, but it doesn't work. It would never show the little speech bubbles while in the lobby, to mute others etc.

I got my copy at the store today, special edition and all..

With a nice booklet with concept art and unlock codes for ingame goodies. You don't get those by illegally downloading the game

Just block the update using Starfall, or run it through a Backup Launcher.

But I was wondering if it was safe to update too. I have my updates to block right now, but I might update if it helps the game in some way. But if the update contains things from the official 4.0, then I am NOT updating.

Wiispeak works fine as far as I can tell... I have the NTSC scrubbed version and I hear people no worries. You both need each others friend codes added, and can see a speech bubble for everyone with wiispeak in the lobby.. if you press the bubble it'll turn red, meaning they'll be mute. In game you can only hear people on your team.

I don't have wiispeak so I can't comfirm other people can hear you with it, but I know for a fact you can still hear them with a scrubbed version. I can't see why it wouldn't work...
