:'( Does not run on PAL!

I tried a "virgin" iso and one patched with regionfree.

I ran both at 50 and 60 hz. Every time the game would get recognized in the menu, but lock up during loading.

That being said, I do not have a dance mat. I doubt that´s the cause, but if it is, please post!!

Um... My Wii is simply NOT modded, none of these isos are any real use for me.

Does this use a Wiimote-ish wireless mat or via the Gamecube controller port?

"In an extremely smart move, Konami has made use of the GameCube port on the Wii, allowing for four dance mats, four Wii-mote/nunchuk sets, and the ability to use the original Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix pads that hardcore GCN owners may already own."
From IGN's preview of this game.

Too bad it wont work on PAL

There are lots of cheapo nasty PS2 pads out there. There should be GCN ones floating around too.

I also would like to open discussion on where we could find the dance mats for cheap, just like when boogie came out and we went over mic options.

I would appreciate it if anyone could share their knowledge on where to get the original or off-brand ones for cheap.

Also, are there any downsides to using the off-brand ones? Reports of bad response or overall quality? What are the issues?

And mooyah - what exactly do you mean by "cheapo nasty" ones? What was the problem?

I have no recommendations, but a quick search brought me this one for $20

I played a lot of DDR for PS2, and occasionally some mats would be slightly delayed in response time when you played, which you notice pretty quickly. It was annoying. The non-slip foam mats are pretty cool though.
