Wifi?

    There is no way to use ds homebrew to connect to wifi connections (the ones with password) , regardless if you know the pass, is it?

    Of course.

    How are you going to retrieve the IP/settings of the network if you don't have valid access to it?

    DS homebrew works just fine, but note that the DS can't use WPA/2 security. Only WEP.

    also, you need to set up the wi-fi settings in a proper game first (like mario kart) and svae the settings. the screens for that should look like this:

    I think he means "Is there a way to connect to access points without knowing the passcode?"

    The answer is no. To crack a password, you would have to be pretty knowledgeful of hacking stuff on Linux.
