Can I use this to connect my DS and future Wii to the internet?

Does it work the same way as the official USB connector?

I don't think you can use it.
It looks like a normal wifi usb device, that will only allow your computer to connect to a wifi access point.
You need:
- either the official nintendo dongle
- a wifi router
- a RT2500 chipset based PCI card on your PC.

This is what it says on the Website

QUOTE said:
WiFi LINK FOR PSP
1. WiFi LINK supports XLink Kai to play PSP online gaming.
2. Connects up to 5 local PSP users on one internet enabled PC.
3. WiFi LINK can be compatible with MAX Media Server Software?.
(With MAX Media Server Software?, WiFi LINK also lets you manage your media files and download them to your PC. Transfer MP3s, images and video files from your PC to your PSP/NDS.)
WiFi LINK FOR NINTENDO DS
1. Connect your NINTENDO DS wirelessly to the world of online gaming.
2. Supports up to 5 NINTENDO DS consoles at one time

It says I can connect my DS. So why not the Wii?

Yes, you can use it to connect any WiFi capable device to the internet. This includes your DS, PSP, new generation Palm Pilots (like the T|X) and the Wii.

HOWEVER, it's a steaming pile of cow dung that only works sometimes and not others. When it works it works, when it doesn't work you'll want to tear your hair out.

Yes it's cheap, but you'll get what you pay for.

I would advise you not to buy that. My friend got one, it does not work without disabling parts of your firewall. That means if you're not good with advances anti virus and firewall features, don't buy. Unless, of course, you don't have a firewall.

OK thanks, guys! I guess I'll stick to the official one. That is, if I can find it in my country...

buying a official nintendo dongle work boths for Wii and DS but i find it slow and poor.

I recommend buy a wifi Router with firewall and supported with nintendo system well.
