Oh!! last question. lets say i give up... can i go back to HP (home premium) using my old product key? and have it stay legit?

This is the only part I can answer easily. Yes you can, as long as it's on the same exact system using the same install disc or recovery CD that came with the system. You can only have one legit install activated at a time for the Full Retail license, and for the OEM/System Builders Edition license (which is what comes with manufactured computers) it can only be installed on the system it came with because the license is activated with unique information from your motherboard.

Yeah it gives you 30 days to activate.. on the last machine i did..

i installed. then wat was removed the second i botted it up (if you know what i leam

)

And i have had no problems.... will that work? the program removes the whole genuine and activation part of windows....

If i screwed with the BIOS... i would break mah pc

I need this for school

If you really need it for school, then you should be able to get a free copy from your school. The requirement for this typically is simply being enrolled in an IT related course. If not, you can still get it cheap for £/$/€30. Just google "Microsoft Ultimate Steal Deal", provided that you have a valid academic email address.

If you don't really need it for school (i.e. if you're in middle or high school) then you shouldn't say so. Ignoring that last comment, there are many ways to get things free with the minimum of web-awareness. Advising specifically how in this case would be against the rules (as already shown).

At the very least, we can tell you that legit keys will always be legit so long as you're not using the same key across multiple computers. You are allowed to uninstall Windows from one computer and use that key on another computer (seen as a licence transfer), so long as you don't reinstall Windows on the first computer and use the same key again (at least, without uninstalling it from the second computer first).

As for using illigitimate methods, try as much as possible to keep them completely seperate from your legit keys. Many legit keys get blacklisted due to careless use of cracks, keygens, loaders and other such tools of the pirating world.

I was not asking for links

Fine. i think i got my answers. i shall stay on my legit Home Prmimun.

I don't see the big deal with this. I original intended to reinstall W7 every 120 days when the trial ends, as I like a clean system.

Then when it expired, all I get is a "This copy of windows is not genuine" over the wallpaper in the bottom right hand corner. Otherwise it's working exactly the same. I have automatic updates enabled, and mine never downloaded any anti-piracy updates, nor have I run any cracks. All i've done is change the file attributes on a single system file.

If your PC comes with any version of Windows 7 preinstalled, you can install Ultimate without any hacks, cracks etc. You simply use your existing certificate with a SLP OEM volume key which are freely availible.
