You think I'm not aware of that? Like I said, just a few seconds a night to turn off a couple of switches to minimize any potential risk. There's no harm in doing so.

Nor is there harm in tinfoil hats.
The difference is that turning off switches doesn't look silly and has no disadvantage unless you suddenly wake up and get the urge to talk to someone or surf the net instantly

I use a wired network these days and only turn my phone at weekends (friends and family get kind of irate should I not be able to be contacted) but Dirtie I do not know about you but I have unlimited downloading capabilities and night is the generally accepted time for me to be a bandwidth hog.

Oh and bonus points to Vampire Hunter D as promised.

What's that film set in the future where there's a disease caused by radio tranmissions and the only way to cure it is stored in a dolphin, it's got keanu reeves in it who stores the data in his head
Johnny Mnemonic. And the cure (information on the cure) is stored inside Keanu Reeves' head, and the dolphin is t3h 1337 H4X0R who has to get it out.
