I get the goods from a private stash so this means nothing to me.

I like to think of Switch piracy like the Fermi Paradox. There are layers of filters one must go through in order to achieve the playing of the free games. Some filters:

- are they cheap enough to not buy games?
- are they smart enough to find out where to find a method of hacking/guide?
- are they smart enough to follow directions?
...
- do they know where to acquire a usb c cable
...
- do they know how to use an sd card
...
- etc

This service being proposed is ridiculous because one must think about prior filters in the process of switch hacking and piracy achieved. If you're smart enough to find out how to do all of that, you're smart enough to know where to look for games already. You don't need this spoonfeeding service unless you're extremely lazy. It takes a special klnd of stupid person to spend money on SX OS at this point in time, it takes an unicorn to think this service is worth the money.

Those semi-private "stashes" don't allow direct installation of games on the Switch itself. You have to go download NSPs, load via USB/FTP, etc.

I have no problem doing this, so I will NOT buy this product after my 31-day reviewer license. Period.

But to pretend there is no valid target audience, and that they won't make any money? Absurd. There are plenty of people who had their Switch hacked by a friend, and maybe they were shown how to update SX OS (or take it to their friend for updates), but never bother filling out captchas/hunting for Discords. Paying $25 for 1 month of access to download everything you can, then never paying again? You think people won't do that? It's EXACTLY what I intend to do with my review copy, lol.

Just because it's not for you, doesn't mean it's not for ANYONE.
Maybe actually read my post. I never said there wasnt an audience. Just one that was either really lazy or really stupid.

I don't buy Nintendo software. I don't think they deserve to be in business. My money goes to $ONY
Please reconsider, I enjoy Nintendo products and think they should be in business. If you not paying for Nintendo software in effort to drive them out of business is successful I'll be real disappointed. Please buy an amiibo or pokemon card!

nintendo can be at a net loss for the next $100 years and still not be in the red

You have high self esteem, which is good. But the reality is that 95% of Switch users have a life and don't have a clue about hacking. From what I know, SX OS/Pro are closing in 500K users. If there is 20K Re/Atmo users that's the end of the world. GBAtemp represents nothing when it comes to the real world, it is where you find advanced users.
Most people have other real life activities, or are simply kids, and they don't know how to get games. I think this service will have way more users than say Atmo. I can imagine the number of customers going to a shop and get SX OS and ask 'where do i get games?'. Now shops, who will support this as they can make money with it, will say, 'Well, here is something for you'.

So the way to formulate the sentence is more like 'To use free CFW and spend hours getting non infected games you must really have nothing better to do in your life', the normality is more SX OS and eventually this.
That being said I am not normal because although I use SX OS, i get my own games. But I know i am a nerd, all my family and friends say it anyway.

This was a boring read. Don't know what I expected when I clicked on a shill piece for this thing but hey.

Basically, their reasoning seems to be: "If people were dumb enough to buy an SX OS license, when they could have chosen a free CFW
Could they have chosen a free custom firmware that was as feature rich and relatively stable right from the start? Does it not still represent a top tier custom firmware?

Rational ? If you can afford 25 monthly you can afford software ? Lol . Pmsl.

TX is not 25 a month , please tell me where you buy your AAA titles for less than 25 a month and I'm in.

You are preaching to the choir, pal. ;) I was just putting words into their mouths. I'm a SX OS user myself. Great product, and I don't regret buying it last summer. But this idea of selling warez goes against my ideology. It should never be sold, just shared.

You know what? I'll just say it. If you have enough knowledge around the internet to find GBATemp as a place to discuss homebrew/hacking, then are able to acquire an SX OS license or SX Pro and successfully manage to put all files on your SD where they belong, and boot said CFW up, maybe even manage updating firmware manually through ChoiDujourNX but at the same time are willing to spend 25 bucks a month on a piracy service because you don't know where to comfortably acquire those files yourself, then maybe piracy just isn't for you. I just won't hear the argument "but it's so comfortable just installing from the console directly" - I'd rather put that USB stick in once in a while than spend 25 bucks a freaking month on some shady as heck service that'll probably run into legal issues so fast you can't even imagine.

It gets really annoying when you have to solve those f*cking capatchas
Do you know what worse? When the short URL is blocked and you have to use vpn, but then comes anti ad blocker and the capatchas when they see you are using vpn they make you select several photos, mostly cars, traffic light, store front, cross roads and fire extinguisher.

let's be real: how many SX licenses have they sold? 100k? only a small percentage of that customer base will use that pirate service. why should they pay for what they already have for free?!
so maybe 1000 users are willing to use it and pay for it regularly. that is 1000x25dollars PER MONTH! they will clearly make a huge profit on that new platform even if only 1000 users pay for it. what do they need? 4TB of fast chinese storage on a 10gbit/s connection. for 25000 dollars a month you can get even more in china!
