- Saves you in situations, when you need it the most (when the truth doesn't cut it/ fails).
- Uh, you can use it whenever you want, really, because who cares (amirite)?
- Truth is overrated.
- Dassit!

"No your arse does not look fat" in that works a whole lot better than "your fat makes you look fat" in my experience, even if the latter is the truth. For better or worse I have never dealt with the modern young ladies that think having a large arse is the way.
