Gaming Why is Sonic Boom so bad?

Sonic Boom shares the No.1 spot with Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 as the worst sonic games ever made.

LAG
First of all, It has an atrocious frame rate. Gotta go fast? Well you can't, or the game will lag horribly.

HORRIBLE HUB WORLD
The HUD (HUB?)World was a nice touch, but it failed. It's so bland and boring. And there's even a glitch which lets you cross large areas as Knuckles (Or Mr.Steroids, as he is practically Hulk Hogan high on Cocaine in this game). I will post it later.

AWFUL 2 PLAYER MODE
I should've mentioned this during the lag segment, but once a second player joins in, the game becomes extremely laggy.

My rating 1.5/10.

Sonic 06's retail game is awful, sure. But the demo? Way better than the entire game and loads of fun to play!



The game's other positive aspect is that the soundtrack is pretty good.

Btw, the Sonic 06 demo for 360 is still downloadable and will always be.

The game was made in horrible working conditions by noname gaijins for outdated hardware. No way in could turn out to be okay. Also plot is really stupid, and that's the reason why the cartoon is also suck. Turn hero's adventure into a stupid SpongeBob 'comedy' rippoff is a bad idea per se.

The cartoon series is actually quite entertaining in comparison to other current cartoon shows.

Inspector Gadget 2015 and the TMNT series? I can't bear to watch either.

Skits (or what ever the hell her name is) is kind of annoying and I don't like it as much as say sonic x but its a good show between the crappy shows (ug, new spongebob and what not) and great shows (gravity falls, star, su and what not).

Sad a lot will not watch it due to the game

Netflix and the likes are starting to takeover cable channels so to get more people to watch it they shouldn't solely have it as a CN exclusive.

Well all of the Turner broadcasting do it.

I can say as a guy with only basic cable im not missing out since I still watch all my shows online for free without Netflix or hulu

The only good 3D ones in recent years are Sonic Colors and Generations, the others ones before (barring the Genesis and SA1 and 2), all blew chunks of shit IMHO.

I love the show, loved the demo. Rise of Lyric is high on my list of things to buy.
