Hacking Why is R4 called R4?

Why is R4 called R4? It's such a random name and doesn't really seem to relate to anything off the top of my head.

it really did what it meant. it created a revolution for the ds especially due to its price and compatibility. It was the master and sadly brought along many clones due to it popularity and effectiveness.

YWG made it even revolutionary when he revived it and made it the most compatible flashcart.

N5 was original called N-Card, N5 is the 5th generation of their chipset.. (although its not a Official N-Card, its a Clone) N-Card was short for NAND CARD
