Lets hear your opinion.

My only reasoning is Pokemon Black and White were NOT released in 3D on the 3DS.
Not worth 250 dollars for not 3D Pokemon.

mine was that my parents say that by the time im 12(1 month and 20 days away) i wouldnt haves eyes to use -.- which is bullshit IMO thats what 3d lock is for. i said about it and they said "whats the point if it doesnt have 3d" THE POINT IS GAMEPLAY. -.-

there are more games than pokemon for 3DS and you do get pokemon pokedex 3ds for free

my 3ds was 1st one out of the store here on launch

i think you will find alot of reasons are lack of funds

Because there are not any good games thus far. A good remake, maybe, but I might buy one when something new/original comes out.

It's $250 and only has few good games.

Once the price drops and it has a larger software library I will definitely be picking one up

That's a crap reason. Pokemon should never be the deciding factor whether to buy a console.
haha, Pokemon is why I got a game boy when I was 5

It's even more of a crap reason. 3D Pokemon should never be the deciding factor whether to buy a console...

I could understand maybe if he was waiting for a new Pokemon game before getting it, but that is a really dumb reason.

Back on topic: I got mine at launch, and I'm lovin' it.

The reason is quite simple: People's lack of funds, inappropriate season to buy consoles and the 3ds poor library. Maybe 3ds sales will boost at Christmas season. I bought my 3ds at launch day and I haven't bought a single 3ds game because there isn't one that interest me. If you ask me now I'll would have waited a few more months (maybe Christmas) to buy the 3ds.

1. not many good titles (yet)
2. waiting for price drop when Vita releases

3. more color variation (maybe a silver or white one)
4. waiting for it to be hacked

being able to view it in 3d should not be your decidig factor as the 3ds CONSOLE is more than a DS .... it has a better graphics engine and better touch screen(more comparable to a iphone touchscreen) that you can use your finger on instead of stylus, motion controls, augmented reality, one friend code for every 3ds game, etc....

Because I was gonna buy myself one for my birthday this month but then had a lil drunken accident with my panasonic viera and had to pay 300 bucks to have that repaired instead. Seriously. It fucking sucks lol

The games... not enough that I would really really want to get my hands on.

The $250~300 wouldn't matter if the console had something really good.

I'm poor, 250$ is way too steep of a price.
Same here, and my parents, even if I had the money, wouldn't let me buy one...

you think thats steep? we pay a whopping 333$ here T_T.
I'll probably buy one around next year or later.

Steep price.
Awful catalogue. Already played OOT3D.
Useless gimmick which still needs a lot of time to gain momentum in the games industry. (3D)
I tend to get tired of handhelds after a few months.
It gives me headaches.
Starting university soon, don't see the need.
