Why does my DSi only boot when a game cart is inserted?

(Little note: The dsi has been bricked 2 times)

So guys, Why does my DSi only boot when a game cart is inserted? When theres no game cart, It only hangs on a white screen or just a black screen with only a blue light (I can still use it via Unlaunch) Do i need to replace the logic board?

If unlanch still works then what is it set to auto-boot into? You might have it set trying to boot something that doesn't exist on your SD.

Probably due to a faulty game card slot. It happened with my system as well. I need to get that fixed...

Hmm... maybe it's not the game card slot that's the issue? Maybe I should re-install Unlaunch by doing the Memory Pit process all over again.

EDIT: It turned out that even re-installing Unlaunch with Memory Pit didn't help. When using Memory Pit to boot into TWiLight Menu++, it still thinks an invalid game card is inserted.
