Hacking Why does MPT stick on Veteran?

I've read MPT will only play on Veteran level when playing using a USB loader.

I just wondered why that would be the case?

That's because whatever settings the menu changes when loading the game aren't changed, and the default is Veteran. I think that's also the same reason Multiplayer is broken
