Below is the change log for the latest version of Vitashell, what I don't understand is why the misc options are removed. Especially homebrew loading, are you fucking insane?

Changelog 0.7
  • Ported to HENkaku (support for renaming/creating folders and for analog stick for fast movement).
  • Added custom dialogs.
  • Added graphics by Freakler.
  • Added possibility to use FTP in background.
  • I/O operations can now be cancelled.
  • Removed misc stuff, shader compiler, homebrew loading, PBOOT.PBP signing, network host.
  • Fixed various bugs.

There is no use for Vitashell if you can use molecularshell.
Yes and no, it depends. molecularShell is a fork of vitashell so right now they are pretty much identical, but theFl0w may add new features to vitashell in the future that may or may not also make their way into molecularShell.

And the best is you can run Vita shell (if it is installed) without running the installation again after shuting down and restart your PSVita :)
Thats not true .... i failed at this one!

@a9lh-1user Maybe if someone figure out how to make a plugin it could work but it would have to be signed of course. And since only custom apps for now have been made not sure if this will be a viable idea for now. But there's like 2 or 3 different file types such as (suprx, skprx, sxprx). Not sure what they really do though.

Yep i tried it with both of my PSVitas and it dont work.....what a shame.
Hopefully someday it will :)

Homebrew loader relied on UVLoader. UVLoader isn't supported by HENkaku (that's why velf homebrews need to be re-builded in vpk format).
It's technically very very easy to use homebrew loader now that we have dynarec functions. You might not even need to make any code changes. But I still recommend people recompile for henkaku. The resulting fself are still compatible with uvloader.

Looks like vitaShell is still useful. It apparently handles bigger files than what moleculeshell allows, useful for the recent leaked game.
