Gaming Why are people excited for the destiny 2 beta when its only open for 7 days?

Unless I got it wrong than I think this is fucked up. Seven days for PS4? And six days for xbox one? Might as well just call it a stress test and not call it beta.

EDIT: Starts July 18 (for PS4) / July 19 (for xbox one) and closes or ends July 24 for xbox and PS4.

But generally a beta is suppose to be about this long. A week or two. Are you expecting to play for a month or something for a game that isn't finished?

Beta games should be released the same way as alpha games (for example sea of thieves), except beta would be played a month before release.
