Why am I banned from IRC?

OK, something really weird is happening lately....

People are getting warnings, being banned....many topics are being closed....
I really don't mind any of it, but I don't remember the last time that things were this strange..

I'm sorry for this "kinda offtop." but it's getting a bit scary..

Yeah seems like theres a bit of a crackdown happening here lately!

You must have done something wrong to get banned. Pm the person who banned you, it told you who banned you when you get kicked if you can't remember then go to the IRC Logs

Well, at least I'm not the only one who noticed it..

I can't imagine what could hankchill do to get banned from IRC.....One of most active, productive members of community, never seen him being too rude or insulting........

Well that's just it... I've never *done* anything rude or offensive to anyone here

However Sinkhead's notified me that I was trying to connect using Mibbit (which I was) and connections through that are banned for now because people were apparently abusing it, so it was nothing I did

I'll just have to see if I can find another good web based IRC client, since I am in the office and can't download any IRC programs

Well, I'm glad to hear this hankchill.....It would be really weird if they banned you for nothing..

But still, things around are pretty stiff lately..

Please keep all IRC problems on IRC. Don't start topics on the forum asking why you've been banned from the channel. If you have a problem, try messaging one of the OPs in IRC or if you have to, PM them on here.
