Hacking Why acekard 2i doesn't play games in DS Lite?

I download kernel to memory card and work it in DS Lite.
It can find games,but doesn't cheat games.Why?

Did you check to make sure that cheats were enabled in the Start-->System Options-->Default Patch Options?

you press select after choosing cheats, if that's where you're lost.
