Tried out that premade 64GB image from that youtube guy and thought it was quite decent and am now thinking of making my own custom build so am wondering who on the Temp has already whipped up a great image.

What ROM sets did you install? Cores? How is it all setup? Are you happy with the build? How much room?

I'm thinking of going with:

CPS 1/2/3
MAME from around 1990 onwards (this one will need quite a bit of trimming)
Neo Geo (once again will need quite a lot of trimming)
PC Engine/CD (trimmed)
Commodore Amiga (trimmed)
Sega Megadrive (trimmed)

Lets see who has created the best PS Classic build.

One of the things with having an overload of ROMs is that you end up tweaking more than playing so I'm looking at keeping mine tightly focused like I did with the SNES Mini which only has around 36 titles in total. MAME would be the big splurge in this one as I'm intending to use my PSC as a replacement for the OG Xbox with its arcade focus and it seems to emulate all that quite well although something like a PSC version of CoinOps would be stunning.

I took some premade builds from the known sites and my own "perfect" build out of them.

It's designed for a 256 GB USB-Stick:

- 345 PSX Games (all PBP)
- MAME / Arcade (Top 300 Games) with Bezels
- Neo Geo with Bezels
- NES (Top 100)
- SNES (Top 1509
- MegaDrive / Genesis (Top 100)
- GB / GBC / GBA (Top 100 of each)
- Dreamcast (only 8 Titles which work flawlessly on the PSC)

The 4:3 Systems have all prebuild-Bezels. Looks good and works pretty well.

Playing with the 8bitdo Wireless Adapter and an PS4 DualShock Controller.

Yeah, thats kind of my thinking as well. Filter out the average and just keep the best.

What DC titles did you get working flawlessly on the PSC? I tried Grandia 2 but it hangs after the title screen. Also I must be one of the few that doesn't like those borders at all, give me the image alone with black on the sides as I think they all look cheap.

The one in the Snes Mini where it reacted to onscreen colours was great, do they have a similar one for RA on the PSC?

Also are there any good tuts for how to setup/config RA stuff like playlists, settings etc... as this is my first time using it properly.

Definitely won't be using it to play PSX games as they look terrible! Arcades are my main thing for this Mini as it seems to handle them well so that will be the largest part of my build.
