acekard rpg is old and I think they don't even sell em anymore.
Acekard2 is better as it has expandable memory.

Combine it with the AKAIO firmware, which is based on the AK RPG firmware.

Also wrong section, this is PSP

I always wanted an RPG, but they were kinda expensive. I don't really like lugging around a card reader wherever I go, a usb reader looks much more professional.

Well, the USB port on the RPG is only for the onboard memory, not the SD slot.

And yeah, it is really expensive, but I think it's basically impossible to find them anywhere anymore. Even DX is sold out:

But I dunno, lol, this card reader looks pretty cool:

The AK2 is a great card and does about everything the RPG can do at only a fraction of the price.
Ive got both. i started with an ak2 and then went on to get an RPG.
For me, its RPG all the way, cuz i really dig the 1gig of on-board NAND, which almost NEVER has any issues running Roms, and the cut/copy/paste feature is more useful than with ak2 for on-the-fly file transfers and such (i've got friends and fam with ak2s and NO pc pirate skills), plus the card is built well and is super sturdy, ...but thats just my preference.

So, yeah....stuff and things.

Haha, well, good or not, it's basically impossible to find them now.

the rpg accepts msd/sdhc so i'm not sure what you mean. i have an 8gb in mine now.

the rpg has THE best build quality of any kit i've used/touched/owned. the spring is so smooth and silent. i use mine so infrequently now i tend to forget how much of a better flash linker it is than the ak2/2.1. i'm glad i own one.

The built in memory of the RPG does sound very nice. Especially for troublesome games like Portrait of Ruins.

You just can't beat how cheap the ak2 is now though, and how little micro sd cards cost these days.

I would want an RPG. They are pricey, so I wouldn't get it anymore. Well what am I saying... They were always pricey so I could never get it. It would be nice to have both on-board and expandable memory. And since it is on-board, all you need to do is bring the special adapter for it and you basically are like bringing an SD Card with an adapter already.

It works with AKAIO which is the best firmware for the AceKard. Nuff' said ^^
