I agree, except for the End game. I didn't understand what you mean.
Xenoblade Wii has an end, and it conclude the story.
Xenoblade WiiU has an open ending, where you just battle another boss and it doesn't really "end" the game as you are still continuing your leveling and exploration of the world. you just won't have anymore story triggered cutscene.
unless it has a real ending I never reached ? the last boss battle is not the real ending? what do you call a "massive end game" ?
