Hacking Which r4 do you have?

I used to have an original. Gave it to my mum. o_o
I might buy one of the more ridiculous looking clones just for the novelty value though. Some of these things are fantastic. R4iTTDS V1.6 DSiXL 3D Upgrade anyone? And its purple. Purple is the shit.
edit: I'm also a fan of the R4i YES. They just don't have a fucking clue.

I haz R4i RTS and it's just a crappy as any other R4 clone. Just checked the support forum and it is infected too and brings up one of those stupid fake antivirus scanner thingos the first time you visit the forum.

IMO, it's one of the best R4 clones out there... It was very reliable, but I wore it out by taking it out and putting it back in several times a day... the pins don't connect properly anymore

The original R4's DLDI patch and most everything worked on it except firmware, that's the only thing that didn't...

All in all, I think my $12 or so was worth it

I now have that original R4DS from Shoptemp, sitting in my spare DS lite as my spare flashcart.

It works great with Wood R4, no need for any other R4.

Original R4 real on 1.18 haven't used it since 2009. Next time I play my DS will be Pokemon Black/White when it's cracked and even then I may just play it on an emu if one is good and working.

EDIT: I would never ever buy another R4 it would be Cyclo DS. Although I havent seen R4 "Wood" (no that's what she said plz)

R4 was the first Flash Kart i got. I got the original back in the beginning of 08 when they were still the best cheaper flash karts. I did get a dark gray one, i envied the white ones even though my ds was black. I thought the white one was cooler.
Eventually i gave it to my bother when i traded up for an AceKard 2.1 ( the undisputed champ)

=D I had an original R4 black, then I got a one from the SimplyMod's survey (so its an R4 SD clone), and then today I traded my original R4 black for an R4 white xD. I had to take out the spring, but meh I wanted to take apart a flashcart at least once anyways. Instead of giving the one from the SimplyMod survey, I accidentally gave away my original one TT-TT (not that they are really different...but the sticker WAS more centered than the simplymod one)...In any case though, I now have a totally legit white R4 that clashes with my DS but w/e since an original white one isn't something you come across every day xD.
