hello again
I need a way to control my desktop from my laptop from where i will be for a week.
I move of city for a week or two and need a way to update my plex server manually which is on my desktop, which i dont bring with me but I let it online.
I know there are a lot of program that allow me to take remote control of my computer, but which one do you recommend me?
thanks

btw, it should require a unique password that will allow me to log in on that computer remote server
it mustnt be a pin that the server gives to the owner who must give it to the one who will take control of the computer. I must be able to take control of that computer whenever i want

Teamviewer is pretty good, but I've been using Chrome Remote Desktop lately. Teamviewer has more features, but for just remotely controlling a pc, I feel like Chrome Remote Desktop handles it better.

Teamviewer is nice and as long as you are not watching videos or playing games on the remote thing it should be fine. You will want to create an account or do the setup unattended access thing.

That said a thing magicians are taught is to always have multiple ways of doing the same trick. I find something similar useful for remote access/VNC, even if it is just bog standard ssh by which you can force a reset.

http://www.uvnc.com/ is my go to choice if I am taking the time to set up something properly.

Also be careful when asking for a unique key as some might think you mean you want one time access codes (nice to have if you fear a keylogger on a shared machine but want remote access to your machine never the less).
