Which of these 'NEW' 3DS screens seem superior? color/saturation & other details you can provide...

Don't zoom it on pic, lol. just keep them cropped to screen level. my phone isn't the best I know.

Eh. Both of them dont really have any discernable difference for what I can see

Look at the screen from a side angle. Some 3DS use IPS screen, they don't changed colors when viewed from the side.

Black Friday is dual TN.

The right one seems better to me (look at the mini map), but to me both are great as they are.

The right one looks a bit over saturated but it could also just be the camera used to take the photos that did it. Honestly it's hard to tell without being able to see them directly

I looked at the mini map. It seems the transparent map looks more saturated depending on what's behind it.

I do believe my 'NEW' 3DS XL - Pikachu Yellow Edition may be dual ips. I've heard that color hue can differ regardless of ips & tn, also the TN screens of the smaller 'NEW' 3DS were less prone to yellowing over time than the smaller older 3DS, despite them having less pixel density.

The green pencil of the Activity Log Icon seems to be just a bit more vibrant on my smaller 'NEW' 3DS, and the Suicune silhouette shows in a proper shade of blue on Pokémon Crystal Title Screen. On my 'NEW' 3DS XL - Pikachu Yellow Edition the Suicune silhouette appears a shade more purple.

Although, my smaller 'NEW' 3DS - Mario Black Friday Edition may have a top screen of ips despite the claims of only tn variants existing. Perhaps because it is refurbished? I looked new out the Box though. The bottom screen of it seems to be of a slight shade different of white when both screens are displaying all white. The bottom seems a hair less saturated than the 'NEW' 3DS XL - Pikachu Yellow Edition.
The top screen details do show more than the bottom screen when I turn my smaller 'New' 3DS to the Side, not as much as the Top & Bottom screen of the Larger 'New' 3DS. I think this hair difference I'm seeing between the top screens of the smaller 'NEW' 3DS and larger "NEW' 3DS XL isn't because of ips & tn, but because the Larger 'NEW 3DS is...well, Larger.

If I had to choose 1 to mod, it would probably be the smaller one, due to the blue hue & green hue being slightly better, even if just a hair. Also, after noticing the Suicune silhouette being the wrong color, it is very hard to unsee, even if it is just a shade off, The bottom screen, while a hair less saturated, are still vibrant & accurate, and not needed for games outside the DS/3DS line. The top screen also wouldn't over stretch the image, which is a bit more noticeable when playing older games on a XL screen

Most Likely, but like I said mine is refurbished... However, the colors of the top screen are just as vibrant, but seem to be a hair more accurate than my Dual ips, top screen.

Not most likely it is 100% dual TN if it Black Friday N3DS, I didn't say anything about the unit on the right, can't really tell.

This would be a good example of dual IPS vs Dual TN

None of the colors look unsaturated on the top screen of my Black Friday N3DS. I no longer own X & Y, so I can't compare. Do you have a comparison of either Pokémon sun or Pokémon ultra moon?

NO, I believe and completely agree with you. Fresh out the factory, a 99 dollar 3DS will NOT have TN screens. I'm not debating that. Please read what I am saying. This is a refurbished unit. I'm not bragging about the top screen being ips, but asking about it.

I believe it is of a high quality that is very close to that level of quality, if not then it is on the same level. I posted the above, as the refurbished unit looks almost too good to be tn. I bought my unit last year both refurbished and, sadly, after shipping and handling a little over $200. The screen may of been replaced, I don't know if it was. So I posted the above as I can't tell the difference, and the few places that I can it looks on par or better. This screen doesn't look like it is the same one the factory would of put on it.

Thanks that would of been better said from the start, rather then taking most of what I posted as an attempt to discredit what you know as true, or disregarding it being a refurbished unit. I don't want the drama, just the assistance. I don't understand people who thrive on drama. I hope your not one of them. Once again, I thank You for the help.
