Hacking Which 64 emulator should I put on my VWii?

I'm bored, and I can't make up my mind. I've heard mixed reviews, so I decided to make a poll. Please post why you voted for either or neither.

not64 runs slightly better than wii64. still can't play most games perfect though (like dk64)

Not64 is the better of the two - but the compatibility is so far off that only a few games run at an acceptable pace to be enjoyable.

It's Nintendo's Shopping Channel, you have to go online and pay for the games to download them. Their emulator isn't even that great and only had 21 games.

Download .wad files of N64 Virtual Console games from 'places'. You may need to use an app such as Free The Wads to make non-Japanese games work on your console.

I see. Do I have to create channels for them to work, or load them through hwc? Are all VC wads safe on VWii?

A lot of WAD injections you can't even make save files on and not to mention, it is risky.

Not64 is a fork of Wii64 that added in some improvements. I don't think anything's happened with Wii64 in a long time.

It's dead, Jim. Last I heard it was still "being worked on", whatever that means.

Install them like you did with the forwarders before. The only extra step is that you might have to patch the region of the .wad file (or use Japanese region versions).
