Since shoptemp shut down, I would like to know where I could get an original R4. Does any one know of a reliable place?

Also, what Wood works on R4iSDHC? Only WAIO? Coz, it's being sold at a store near my place.

Did you even bother to check out the news on the main page? GBAtemp news on shoptemp?

SDHC has no wood support whatsoever, just get an original r4ds or R4i gold from shoptemp resellers. DO NEVER BUY SDHC CLONES

Did you even bother to look at what shoptemp is nowadays? It lists online shops that actually sell stuff with something called reliability. It doesn't matter if the store is located in China, they do have international mail for that reason. As a side note, probably 100% of flashcarts are made in China and I really do hope that you didn't think that someone actually made flashcarts in the US. If you buy from a place in the US, the price will probably be quite a bit more expensive because of taxes and such, and the product will be the same so why bother.

There is also a US store in that link posted by A Gay Little Catboy. But anyhow I'd recommend buying from lightake.com or similar. As for the flashcart, go for the AK2i if you want a cheap(ish) flashcart with good support. I'd suggest the DSTwo or the CycloDS iEvo but I guess you don't need the extra features or want to pay for them if you're looking for an R4

I got my R4 Clone (Wood works one it, is identical to original) from Lightake and I highly recommend you go to them.
Not only was it shipped really quickly (around 10 days from Hong Kong-Aus, but i also changed the order half way through and it still came really quick), but wood works as advertised meaning it is a flawless clone of the original.
I already own an Original R4, and the clone from Lightake works exactly like the original.

I don't know why people complain about these guys, i will be sure to buy my flash cards from there from now on (I also bought an Acekard 2i, works great on my DS phat, waiting for my mate to bring his DSi so i can test).

I could have ordered those, but I just don't see a lot of talk going on about those cards. Which ever games I've seen with AP being released are all playable on WoodR4 in a matter of 2 or 3 days if not immediately.

Isn't one of those cards a GBA card (meaning it can play GBA roms)?

Glad I could help, although I still would have gone with the AceKard 2i as everyone else said. But as long as you're happy, it's all good.

The SuperCard DSTwo can play GBA ROMs, and it automatically bypasses AP so you don't have to wait for a new firmware update. Not that it matters anymore, since the production of DS games is coming to an end with the upcoming release of the 3DS.
