Hacking Where to actually sell gateway?

I keep re posting on craigslist but apparently no one there knows what a gateway is or cares. Considering I bought all this new for $230 I figured $140 for a black 3DS XL with gateway would be snatched up in under a month but nope. It's $120 for just a shitty used 3DS on amazon with scratches and "could be missing stylus" and all that, and gateway couldn't have come down THAT far in price...

So is there any where to pawn it off that will actually be seen or do any of you guys want it? Black/black 3DS XL with box and virtually no wear (I don't have time to play it), adult owned smoke free. Has stylus and box and all that crap. 4GB sd card that naturally comes with it.

Uh what else.. blue and red Gateway cartridges with box and downgraded to 4.5 so you dont have to get on wifi to launch into gateway mode.

$4 more if you want the 16GB micro sd card that has a shitload of 3DS games on it like Mario Zelda Fire Emblem Shovel Knight and crap. Or just point me to a place people would care about this because no one on craigslist has for a month and I'm short on cash. Pics available upon request but honestly there's virtually no wear. This is the kind of deal I would have picked up instead of feeling like a waste of money just buying it all new and playing 3D Land and shelving it..

I think the idea is that you have a reputation established - prevents fly-by-night scammer people I guess.

Also, eBay may not be successful because someone might report your listing and have it removed. You could try listing it on online classifieds by saying "comes with a hundred games" or something. But you should not list any identifying details, and meet the buyer somewhere away from your home or work, since you could get into trouble for selling pirated material. Good luck!

Well I'll sell the 3DS on ebay but I'm worried about the gateway yes. Maybe someone here can just paypal me $30 shipped for it? Not any different from shipping on craigslist then, is it? Obviously send the money to me for goods instead of to friends. I don't see what the problem with that would be.

A fly-by-night scammer as you put it could easily work up 100 posts. I just want a simple way to sell my gateway to someone who actually knows how to use it. $30 seems like a fair price considering they're probably 60 new at least.

You could sel it on ebay pretty easy, Ive seen Sky3ds being sold on ebay just with a different label, I think it was 3ds sdcard reader or something lol

Not sure man, from my experience they crack down on piracy pretty bad, even old shit like NES flashcarts. Seems pretty risky.

Fwiw it's not like I don't have a verified paypal account for almost 10 years, ebay account for god knows how long with all positive feedback.. I can link my ebay account as requested in pm (don't want to advertise it here)

Ain't even new to reading this forum, just never felt a need to post until wanting to cheaply pawn off this gateway. Pretty sure the buyer could open a dispute on paypal if I sent a something-that-isn't-gateway (and I'm not a douche. again I just want a smooth transaction on some damn website, aka not craigslist or ebay). And trying to scam a whopping $30 seems like a big waste of time on everyone's part.

Guess I can try listing the stupid gateway itself on craigslist. Maybe no one responded for a month because I was trying to sell the 3DS and gateway together. But I figured a 4.5 firmware sdcard-has-shitload-of-games combo would be actually appealing.

I sold my GW on eBay without any problems at all, i had watched a couple of others before putting mine on and was just careful with the wording, i got back almost all of what i paid for it too

Well alright I can give it a shot, but what do you do about picture and title? Do you call it a Gateway, a Gate Way, or what?

I think mine was something along the lines of..... Gateway for 3DS Consoles << Just simple like that

In the description i kept i very vague, was something like... Only bid for this product if you have the correct model of console and know how to use it

Got it a week later and what do you know? Chipped, gecko SD loader thingy, complimentary sd card full of roms/isos/emulators/homebrew etc. Score!

Just say "microSD card adapter for 3ds 4.1 - 9.2" or something like thst. Be careful with wording. They got pissed off at m one time for selling a pokemon x game with "unobtainables" on it.
