I'm glad to see someone @Jayro call out that fairly recent banger of a NS2 update with NS1 games. Check that box. To allow the NS2 in handheld mode to run NS1 games in docked mode is the other part of a 1-2 punch the system delivered on the old handhelds games. You already had that generalized update of how well games worked stock or with quick enough tweaks, largely centered around games that pushed the GPU side of the hardware more than CPU and got massive gains in FPS, stability etc. But then Nintendo listens to the fans, or already planned it, but allowed people to make the battery thristier choice of NS2 in handheld mode running the old games still in docked mode was a chefs kiss move.

I get if you have a solid PC and still would rather use that, or one of a few niche devices that can crank NS1 games to stupid good rates, but if we're sticking to use of stock hardware and not some magic warezy workaround, it's really something to consider.

Boost Mode should've been included from the beginning, but it sure is a nice new addition.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is easily one of the best Western games and unfortunately it only runs at 30fps, and every time I boot up the game I have to go to Settings, Controls, and turn off Motion Sensor or else the controller will feel like it has stick drift. That game definitely needs a 60fps boost and fix that damn motion sensor nonsense.

@Marc_LFD Well it's up to the developer to do the work, a lot of them just did silent fixes ready at launch or game in the weeks and months after. Maybe write them and see if they're looking into it? I'm surprised you have to every time setup a motion sensor off switch, it sucks it doesn't remember that.

I remember some people going nuts over games that ran like utter trash with graphics failures like Borderlands2 and when the NS2 fix dropped it went to a solid 60 and the visuals didn't fail anymore either.

I did, hopefully they'll patch it.

I've already played most of the game, but it'd be a blast to replay in 60.
