I thought epona wasn't in the game this time, instead you get wild horses. You can't get wild horses (afaik) until you get the paraglider

You'll come across wild horses along your journey, just as you've probably come across wild wolves, foxes, birds, and other game you can kill for meat. You have to sneak up behind them, hit A to board it, and then tame the horse as you ride it by soothing it with L, and you must register your horse at a stable (there are many out there, they're hard to miss) at which point it will control better and you'll be able to store your horse there or switch it out with up to 5 different horses that you may register at a stable. I've got 3, horses have different traits, so there is reason to tame more than one.

I'll try that when my amiiqo comes in the mail (i'm not paying 15 dollars for a toy in a box).
(I would just use the powersaves for amiibo with the powertag, does the same thing but only one bin at a time and is $20)

Its confirmed that amiibo spawn shit, and I tryed it and yes Link does spawn a horse, but I don't think it was Epona.
It's Epona. If you try to register the horse the guy is all omg that's the legendary Epona. You can't rename her. Then asks if you are going to leave it as Epona

Yeah but Datel screwed up the software update for the amiibo powersaves...at least that's what the Amazon reviews say.

I used it on my Switch too and it works fine. Besides, the Power Tag and NFC Writer work with other software besides Datel's.

Well than I will cancel my order of the amiiqo.

The Amiiqo/N2 is still a better option, especially for the Switch. You can have a massive amount of Amiibos in your pocket on the go, that won't take up space. You can manage them everywhere with your phone that is capable of communicating over NFC. It's just great.
