My Wii stopped outputting an image onto the screen, it just turns on, reads the disc but nothing shows up on the TV. I've tried different cables but it doesn't work so i figure it needs to be repaired. I dont want to send it into Nintendo so does anyone know who can repair it in Melbourne or can help me fix my problem without paying for repair?

without paying for a repair? Lol, i wish there were people in every state that repair broken video game consoles for free. Anywhere you take it besides Nintendo, is going to do a half-asses job, unless the problem is simple. You will have to remove the chip and send it to nintendo. Sometimes they will just charge you, sometimes they will fix it, I've heard various reports...

The problem could be any number of things. If it was a more specific, generic simple problem, then I could point you in a number of other places to get it fixed, but I can't tell what would be wrong...
