Another problem, in some games if I set it to normal it works but for others the save doesn't come up unless I put it into Alternative mode and vice versa? How do I get all my saves to work for Normal mode and Alternative when I feel like using RTS?

where do you get the update file for the root?
Firmware 1.41 is the latest stable firmware. You should always download and install this if you just bought your Cyclo.
Get it here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=2766

If you want to use the In-game text viewer and multi-save features, download the firmware 1.5 Beta 2.
Note, you'll void your warranty if you use the beta firmware, and you might mess things up if you're a newb.

Void your warranty? Where have you heard that from?

Team Cyclops have said that they take no responsibility for damage caused by using BETA firmware, but they never said your warranty would be voided.

My bad. TC can't be held liable for damages to your card/DS caused by beta firmware, but you might be able to get a replacement from the shop you bought the Cyclo from.
