Hacking When i order the acekard2i, there is an option to get 1.4 firm

What is 1.4 firmware? Is it needed for my DSL? Can someone explain?

no it's for the dsi no need for it
definitely say NO if it's asking you to pay

only for dsi, if you got a dsl and u decide to get a dsi later on as long as you have access to a dsi once you can update it yourself

If you have a DS Lite, you don't have worry about the 1.4 firmware. This only applies to DSi's.

Currently most Acekard 2.1's are suffering from a 'bad batch' problem so people are buying the Acekard 2i instead. However 0ShippingZone have confirmed they have just got a new batch of Acekard 2.1's in which don't suffer from this problem.

Should i get from leetmod or 0shippingzone? How do i choose not to have a firmware when on leetmod, when i have a dsl?

If you buy from Leetmod, buy the Acekard 2i for $16.99 + $1.99 shipping. Select the 1.3, there's no need to spend the extra $1 on the 1.4FW.

If you buy from 0ShippingZone, you can buy the Acekard 2.1 for $13.50 including shipping, however they are in HongKong so shipping times will be longer.

If it were me i'd go for the cheaper option, but it depends on how quickly you want it.
