Homebrew Homebrew app When i open Mplayer or MyMenuifyMod the wii mote just gets disconnected. Any help?

I just modded my wii following the instructions of the guide and when i open some apps like MyMenuifyMod or Mplayer wii mote fully disconnects and cant reconnect it to the wii.
Only if i exit the app by reseting the console i can connect them again. Any fix or something? Im using a wii mote with motion plus inside and a wii RVL- 001 (the first generation)

Some older homebrew only works with the original Wiimote but not the Motion Plus. Try to find more recent builds.

I have this problem but i dont have a gamecube controller
could i use a Wii u Pro controller using 8 bit do?

The version of mymenuify mod included in modmii has motion+ wiimote support. Also available from other sources if u do some digging

I installed 246 and then tried to us mymenuify while forgetting to install all ios and cios and when i got into mymenuify it loaded but the remote didnt sync. After i installed all ios and cios it worked. Try making sure you have all the latest updated ios and cios installed.
