Whats your average speed my average speed is about 26 kB/s.

Unless you have a very good Usenet provider, there's no way you're downloading Wii ISOs with a constant 16Mb/s

I usually get ~500kb/s when downloading via torrent, and ~800kb/s when using Usenet (hitnews.eu still gives you a 3 days trial you can use as often as you like, they're rather slow though...)...I'm on a 16Mb/s line.

Anyway, who cares about the details, if there's a Wii game I want to play, I'm usually able to play it the same day

Tis quite easy to download at that speed through usenet.

I'm on 12meg Cable and hit 1500kb/sec constantly.

-edit- If you only get 800kb/sec using usenet either that trial limits the max speed or you have issues with your line

Giganews. Speed has a lot to do with why I invest in a good usenet service. I only use torrents as an absolute last resort.

My Wii games download at 1,000,000,000 gigabytes per half second, so in one second, I have 2,000,000,000 gigabytes of Wii games downloaded. But for some reason, PS2 games download at 0.00000000000001 kilobytes A YEAR. It is so weird.

What a dumb topic. Wii games don't download any different than other downloads. Change 'wii games' to 'ubuntu' and put it in the computer section. Or just get people to post their up/down speeds, which has been done before

Using Thundernews games come down at around 300-400KBPS. This is on a 8MB Tiscali connection so its not too bad. A Wii game comes down in about 3-4 hours tops

i've spiked 4200kb/s at work. usually 1000-3000 depending on seeds

at home it's a dismal 120kb/s at best
