Gaming What's wrong with this DS Lite?

A dude needs a DS Lite to be repaired so i took the job so i can cash a lil bit.

I've been trying to open it but sadly i don't have a triwing screwdriver(Yet!) so i'm just trying to guess what the problem could be.
The upper screen isn't showing anything. It just has some white/black lines.

What could it be? Ribbon Cable? Broken LCD?

I guess its the Ribbon cable and maybe he'll need a new shell too.

Ohh i thought the ribbon cable can be brought seperatly.
So i need to get the LCD screen.

Yes that is what you need.
Changing use the ribbon cable is not so simple.

Btw does anybody know where i can get DS Lite Housings?
Dealextreme isn't selling them and amazon/paypal won't ship to my country(i think).

Ok so when I was about like 7 or 8 my me and my brother broke my DS lite (special mario edition with M on it) we were fighting and i was pulling on the top screen and he was pulling on the bottom screen and it ripped in half! lol ok so then i figured it would be a good time to take it apart because it didnt work anymore but I didnt have a tri-ring screwdriver so i was like yolo and hummed it at the ground and it broke more so i took the screen and buttons apart xD
