Be Your Own Pet of Be Your Own Pet..pretty much my favorite album this year.

Look for :
*Guster - Ganging Up On The Sun
*Awesome Color - Awesome Color
*Flaming Lips - At War With The Mistics.
*Lilly Allen - All Right,Still

And some classics doesn´t hurts: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Dylan, B.B. King.

It´s not music but... The Penn Jillete show also is awesome -Free on ITunes-

Couldn't agree more on the Penn Jillette, look for the Gilbert Gottfried episode. You WILL fall over dead laughing!

Also, if Guitar Wolf hasn't been mentioned yet..
Guitar Wolf
but they're only good if you play them very, very f*ck*ng loud.

And people who are saying Hip Hop/Rap sucks:
GTFO; stop being close minded.

indeed, its one of those things everyone jumps at the chance to say online. in real life I occasionally am told about how shit rap is, then I explain I dont listen to eminem, 50 cent etc. 'oh who do you listen to then!?" talib kweli, dead prez, nas etc "who?"

but I dont think I'd rather have it any other way, I couldnt stand it if everyone listened to the same people as I do, as I see it- if you dont like them, youre not worthy.

yeha i kinda agree with you i listen to talib , KRS 1 , k-os, de la sould and some other good MCs but ever since all these gangsta crap invaded the whole scene its just went down hill all this crip walking crap that usally ALL DAMN TEENY BOPPER ASIANS do ( well in australia where im at) and 50 cent with his gay unit crap AGRH

well im not to big on allot of music but i got some good songs
scary kids scaring- my darkest hour
dragon force - through the fire and the flame
Dragon Force - Black Winter Night
Dragon Force - Valley of the Damned.mp3
daft punk -robot rock
daft punk - voyager
De La Soul - a roller skating jam named saturdays
zapp & roger troutman - more bounce to the ounce
zapp and roger troutman - slow and easy

and some others but these would be kinda my top atm seriously all the good music has kinda left there are some good ones out there but very few in my opinion i guess. just go listen to some old stuff lol

Search for Penn on iTunes and pick Penn Jillette instead of Pen Radio. They've still got a few of the old shows there, but it's not letting me subsribe, so idunno what's going on. Try this link.
Gilbert Gottfried

Penn Radio Archive, I´m suscribed to that already, and yes for some odd reason is down most of the time

Do you like metal? these bands melt my brain!

Dragonforce: the shreddingest band ever!!
Luca Turilli: The most Epic Metal ever metalled
Rhapsody: Luca Turilli's other band
Hammerfall: more metalicious excitment

Just look at the covers! ROCK!

get all of these bands. and remember that music isn't worth listening to unless it involves dragons, swords, and aurora borealis.

Err... I better do it on the Test Area, don't want to get "Mickey Mouse"d by the Moderators.

Edit: OMG!!!!, another Metal luver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rhapsody (of Fire) FTW

Yay! Metal FTW! Now I'm listening a lot to Children of Bodom (Hatecrew Deathroll) and Arch Enemy (Doomsday Machine).

You should listen to Kamelot (Karma) or In Flames (Clayman) too. ^^

However, for the Rhapsody -of Fire- FTW:

good call with guitar wolf, "lock 'n loll!!!!" since bass wolf died they haven't been to the states, but when they return, it's a must see. it's one of the best shows you'll ever see.

also, check out:
the d4
tokyo sex destruction
the sword
the sounds
the (international) noise conspiracy
refused
clutch
fu manchu
ghostigital (hip-hop as imagined by einar orn from the sugarcubes)
clan of the cave bear
the atomic bitchwax

btw, i like the rhapsody version of the dragonlance: the legend of huma cover!
if we're talking that flavor of metal, who can leave out limozeen!?

A-Ha - The best band of all time, plain and simple. (After Scoundrel Days they go downhill).

Pink Floyd - Do I even need to explain this?

Melotron - Hmmm, they're good kind of. (Vaterland, Brueder)

Funker Vogt - Their 1998 runs were amazing (Alone, Thanks for Nothing, Remember Childhood, Voices of the Dead, Funker Vogt 2nd Unit, The Journey, Take Care, Tragic Hero, No Rest for the Wicked, etc..) but now that they have strayed from Agro-tech they are no where as good as they used to be.

Bruce Springsteen - Classic Rock at its finest.

I'm kindof a musician so I like to think I have good taste (but don't we all). Here are my favorites:

Les Claypool - musical genius -www.lesclaypool.com or search on youtube
Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey- incredible beautiful/acid jazz - www.jfjo.com or search on youtube
Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet awesome jazz/rock with lots of horns
Venetian Snares - my favorite electronic/breakcore artist
Red Hot Chili Peppers/John Frusiciante - pretty poppy but I somehow dig it
The Bad Plus - crazy jazz trio
Fourtet - awesome feeling electronica..
