My Wifi on homebrew doesn't work and I didn't realise until now, that it was because of the firmware version...

And homebrew works completely fine, as expected.

Um I think a lot of you have missed the point; it's nice to know what firmwares you all have, really it is. But that's useless without telling the poor guy if homebrew wifi works on it or not.

I wish there was a better way to check instead of potentially damaging your DS. Poor thing has already gone through a mountain of dandruff. Those bastards...

Excuse any typos, I'm pretty drunk right now.......I'm not generally a drinker, but occasionally....


My first DS was a launch DSphat. Bought it about a month after they were released. According to the "test", I had version 5 firmware...Magenta.

Almost exactly a year ago, I bought a Black DSlite and sold off my phat, which is still being happily used to this day by my niece.

Naturally, the lite showed the Purple....


I never flashed my DS's and I didn't get into flashcarts until I got the lite....SCminiSD first, R4DS second.......not sure what this means for anything, but there ya go.
