ROM Hack What is the best way to check my Gmail from my DS?

I just want to be able to check the account and reply to a couple mails, is there any homebrew software that does it?

NDSMail used to support GMail, but it broke. So at the moment, there is no way.

Does that mean I would have to use an older version of NDSMail, or just there isn't any way to do it?

Also, can I visit Gmail on the DSOrganize program?

haha seriously... i just got into the homebrew world and am totally lost with getting gmail to work on ndsmail version .60 if anyone has any ideas please let me know....

1. enable POP in gmail.
2. In ndsmail use these as the account settings
POP3 Sever: pop.googlemail.com
POP3 Port: 995
POP3 User: (your gmail username)
SSL: (Check it)
POP3 password: (your gmail password)
SMTP Server: smtp.googlemail.com
SMTP Port: 465
E-Mail address: (your gmail email address)
Display Name: (your gmail username)

I've tried it and it works, using version ndsmail v .60

You can also use the Nintendo DS Browser if you want to view images in your email.

yes, the latest version of ndsmail fixed the ssh issue so gmail will work.

If you have a 3-in-1 flash cart or the expansion pack, then you can use the Browser ROM, or the real cart. Note, that the European was dumped but the US is a dupe so don't look for a US one. Oddly, the serial for the US version was xxxP-USA, which I haven't ever seen before. Usually it's the US that dupes the US serial, but even then the interal doesn't cross-reference serials...

Having problems with this...

When I try to connect with NDSMail, I get an error that he cannot find the POP server.
I have configured my account to all the settings omarroms said.

I had that problem and all I had to do was turn it off and restart the ds, the next boot up it worked.
