With your requirements? Not much. Cheap TV boxes are all basically garbage.

Your best bet would be the Chromecast with Google TV: https://store.google.com/us/product/chromecast_google_tv < It'll be fast enough and it's $50. Anything else will probably be trash.

I'm using an nvidia shield myself. it works very well. however, it's not $50. it's more like $180 without controller and $200 with. the controller works well, but there's no indicator on the controller itself if it's low on battery power, so I leave it plugged in while I'm using it using a very a long ps4 controller charging cable. there was an update a few months ago to make it compatible with ps5 and xbox series x controllers, but I haven't tried it.

You can get a Xiaomi Mi Box S for $64 dollars, even though it is over your budget. Nividia Shield TV would be a good choice but it is expensive.

Agree with godreborn, Nvidia Shield is the best, but more than $50. Amazon firesticks work good though and less than $50.
