could somebody give me a basic definition of what sneek is and why would would i need it .... i tried searching but can only fine details on how to install it, not what it is

If you don't know what it is, then you are probably best not trying to use it right now. From what I can tell, it is still in the very early development stages, and not intended for most people to use right now.
But anyway, it is a way of running the Wii system menu, and the rest of the nand memory from a USB harddrive, or an SD card instead of from the Wiis internal memory.
