Hacking what is real time saving?

from what i heard, it sounds like save states like the emulators...is it?

Pretty much yes its like save states.

I think it for technical term is a File dump of whole memory, (or, so it seems to work)

What says it is like this? Well, since the file it creates is 4mb, and that happens to be also DS RAM size.

It is just as Save state, only there is one of them (unless you use new UI beta)
