    I recently bought a GBM from a friend of mine for $50, and it came with a Pokemon FireRed, and well, these...

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

    All he remembers is that he got them off the Korean black market, all I know is that the Emerald included on the right one is poorly translated, Sapphire doesn't save, and there are tons of NES games on them. What are these?

    i think they are called "multi-carts". My friend lived in china growing up and he had a few of them for the brick game boy. Some of them have a little button on the outside where you press it to change games. weird.

    pirated cartridges...the Emerlad was probably a japanese rom release using a translation patch and the one with nes games i imagine is either some of the nes anniversery collection roms
