All installed illegal CIAs will be deleted automatically.

Not true. I've updated ALL of my emuNAND CIA games from the eShop and they are all still present. The only issue I've seen from accessing eShop with invalid CIA's installed are themes disapearing. So if you have a theme pack installed, you will have to reinstall it.

If you do this in sysNAND however, then all of your invalid CIA's WILL be removed. But only in sysNAND.

Edit: Invalid CIA's will also be deleted if your emuNAND is linked to your sysNAND. Forgot to mention that too.

it just gives some message that you ahev to go to memory management to complete the installation

i tried going to the manager in eshop and nothing was there, ,then i went to system memory management nothing there either then i went to memory management on sysnand like an idiot and all my CIA got deleted

It does work. Stop spreading mis-information. I can't speak for MM, but I just re-created my emuNAND and re-installed all of my CIA content About 15 games total needed updates including ORAS, NSMB1/2 and many others. Every single game with an update worked by trying to launch the game and pressing "Y" to launch the eShop and install the update. If you received a system message, then that means something was wrong with your CIA file or you had to go to the game page in the eShop and click "Repair Game".

no i don't think so

Did you create emuNAND, remove your SD card, then format your system? If you didn't do that, then your NAND's are linked and that's why all of your CIA's were removed.

You would also see all of your invalid CIA's become giftwrapped everytime you restart your system and launch emuNAND.

i think i did it later, i think if you go to memory management on any system in sysnand regardless of weather the nands are linked all CIA's will get deleted

i get the gift bug but only on certain games, 2 are fixed japanese region games , and i think i got it on one other one but it was weird it never did it but then one day it just started doing it, but i had a bunch of CIA's installed and only the 2 jap region games got the gift bug but then later on one other game, i forget which one now, but all my other game CIA's don't do it

i think my MM CIA was non scene release and it may have been a region fixed one too , maybe that has something to do with it, maybe you can't update region fixed ones

Yeah not too sure really. I've gone into data management while in emuNAND and removed items without issue. I don't dare go into it in sysNAND though because then CIA's will get removed from emuNAND if they are linked or not I think.

They are linked. When you went into system management on SysNand, it deleted everything on your EmuNand.
i thought it did that even if they are not linked though?
if they were linked wouldn't i see the same theme? i have custom theme on my emunand and it doesn't show on sysnand
also the configurstion of icons, icon size is different on sysnand than on emunand

You can check by changing your internet connections on one NAND, and checking the other to see if it has also changed.

Why do people keep spreading this bs my Nands are linked and I have Homebrew from unsigned to signed content on both Emunand and Sysnand and nothing gets deleted when visiting the eShop everything simply gets re-wrapped when swapping between Nands. The only thing that has ever shown this behavior is Unsigned Themes installed to Sysnand.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe Arnold could do a cameo voice acting, he is the one briefing you on the mission

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
