It looks like they just burned something to a disc, so you'd still need something to load that disc like a modchip or an action replay.

At this point, if Codejunkies isn't selling any more action replay discs/SD media launcher kits in the US, your best bet would be to just buy a XenoGC. They're like $15 max, super easy to solder to the drive, and then you could buy whatever that Walmart thing is to load Swiss from or burn your own disc for that.

There is also this pretty new thing: (seems US version currently not in stock)

They have used the same method as Datel and the disc boots without a XenoGC… and a pressed disc will not require laser potentiometer adjustment.

That said, I agree with @Tom Bombadildo: If money is an issue the by far cheapest option for booting Swiss directly from disc is a XenoGC which are often bundled with an SD2SP2 now.

$200 is ridiculous for the old Media Launcher: A GCLoader is cheaper and provides so MUCH more.
