What does ESR patching do to the image?

    I was just wondering, on a semi-technical level, what patching the isos to be ESR compatible does to the image. As in how does patching it make things work for the softmod? Here's hoping somebody can offer me a little insight into this [​IMG].

    This has been answered a number of times. I'll answer it again. It patches the game to read as a DVD-Video. This bypasses the security check for the game allowing the game to boot.

    Thanks for the info, I did do a bit of searching but I guess I didn't look hard enough.
