What do you wake up to?

An alarm on cellphone set to a feel good song (like I Feel Good, or Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night, or Walking on Sunshine). It get's me cheery for the rest of the morning since without it, I'm extremely cranky.

My friend texted me pretty early, and I had forgetten to put my phone on vibrate.

Yesterday though, I woke up to my mom telling me that she had just called 911 because my dad threw his back out again and couldn't move. Fun shit.

This morning I woke up to my special lady friend texting me "Good morning"

I don't wake up

First alarm: Alarm clock radio set to an easy listening station.
Second alarm: Incremental beep
Third alarm: Phone set to alarm and vibrate.

I'm a heavy sleeper.

This is exactly what used to happen to me. I now put my alarm clock at the other side of the room, on Radio 1, at a ridiculous volume so I have to get up and turn it off.

Yeah, my third alarm on my phone is in the lounge. But even then I always seem to end up back in bed... Why do they make them so comfy, dammit!
