Terrible motherboard for FX-8320. FX processor is power hungry, so a quality motherboard is needed or it'll overheat. Whereas you can cheap out motherboard on Intel CPU, you CANNOT do it on AMD build.

Also, what are you trying to build that needs FX-83xx?

Good for stock speed (I wouldn't even use that ASUS M5A78-M LX Plus for stock speed), but terrible if you want to overclock.

But M5A97 R2.0 is a much better motherboard.

It sucks; get a new one. No, just listen to the people before me and you'll get what you need. But a 2TB HDD? What are you going to put on there, the entire N64 and Sega Genesis library? I'm only saying that if you can't get one for a decent price, then you could get 2 1TB HDD's if you really do need that much space. Or you could just buy hard drives as you need them.

An SSD with 1TB. It is more affordable and you can always get another hard drive if you need it.

Better cpu, better ssd, and better gpu. The psu is now 600 watt.

Don't. The non-SSD speeds are horrible due to the latest models being 5400rpm, and the way it identifies what to put on the SSD portion is completely broken.

The alternative to hybrid drives is the smart caching/virtu drive (or whatever they are calling it these days) feature added to Z77 and Z87 chipsets. However it has been known to break (requiring rebuilding) every time the system crashes or isn't properly shut down. In my experience, it's just not worth the hassle... Yet.

The problem with hybrid drive is that SSD cache portion is very small, no more than 16 GB. Plus it takes some time for drive to learn and cache frequently use files,
